CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:

We want to thank our members for their continued patience during our branch renovation efforts. These projects are part of our long-term commitment to creating spaces that are more welcoming, functional, and equipped to serve you better.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Ovid
  • Construction and renovation work will be completed by the end of June. Members can expect a refreshed layout, clearer access to ITMs, and a more personalized, modern lobby experience. We’re also working on dampening the sound of the coin machine and near the ITMs.
• St. Johns
  • The full renovation, including the permanent exterior signage and lighting, will be completed by the end of August. This redesign nearly doubles the indoor seating, creates greater privacy for consultations, and supports the continued expansion of departments and services, including our recently insourced mortgage operations.
• Alma
  • We've kept this location a little under wraps, but construction is moving along and will continue until we open in September. We’re excited to introduce the same improved layout and welcoming member experience in this growing community.

Why We Made These Changes

We’re growing.

The updates give us the space to support more members, new departments, and a better overall experience, from better ITM transactions to in-depth conversations with our JFCU Navigators, all of whom are certified credit counselors.

We’re modernizing.

Our main building in St. Johns was built in 1995. This renovation isn’t just overdue, it’s a reflection of the care, energy, and attention to detail we’re bringing to our membership.

We’re investing in people.

These projects aren’t about replacing people, they’re about supporting them. The updated space gives our staff a more professional, energizing, and purpose-built environment to do their best work.

We’re keeping it local.

We partner with businesses from within our field of membership as much as possible, including the St. Johns based company handling our signage and lighting. They’ve been a fantastic partner, and we’re proud to keep this work in the community, even if that occasionally means longer timelines.

We know appearances matter.

We’ve heard the feedback - an unfinished sign can make the entire project feel incomplete. We agree. The final exterior touches will tie everything together, and we appreciate your continued patience as we wrap up this final phase.
